Sizzle Dining Turns 10: 140 Restaurants, One Month of Deals, and Every Meal Gives Back

September just got tastier. Sizzle Dining — Southwest Florida’s signature late-summer restaurant promotion — is back for its 10th anniversary, and it’s the biggest edition yet. All month long, a record 140 restaurants across Lee and Collier counties will serve exclusive lunch and dinner menus at 25–30% off their regular prices.

Fort Myers Beach is well represented on the list: Coste Island Cuisine at Diamondhead Beach Resort, JWB Grill at Margaritaville Beach Resort, and Pinchers just off San Carlos Boulevard are all participating. There are no passes or tickets to buy — diners simply browse the participating restaurants, make a reservation, and enjoy the meal. With 46 new restaurants joining this year (26 of them from Lee County alone), it’s a great excuse to try somewhere new.

Every meal also gives back. For each Sizzle Dining meal sold, $1 is donated to Blessings in a Backpack of Southwest Florida, which sends weekend food bags home with local elementary school children facing food insecurity. Last year’s event served a record 87,483 meals; this year’s goal is to top 100,000.

For guests planning a September stay on the island, it’s the perfect way to eat well for less during the quiet weeks before season — and support local restaurants and kids at the same time.
